MECHANICAL INSPECTORESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform duties of Mechanical Quality Inspector as required.

Perform receiving, first-piece, in-process, and final inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as: micrometers, vernier calipers, micro-hite, optical comparator, CMM and White Light inspection techniques.

Work with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing personnel to assure effective and competent performance of quality function.

Verifies and maintain Device History records.

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Work independently with limited supervision.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma required or Technical School Certificate preferred.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Proficient with surface plate technology, shop math, mechanical inspection instruments, and blueprints.

Basic knowledge of QMS systems and GD&T.

White Light Scanning knowledge a plus.

CMM experience a plus.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to express concepts effectively.

Strong computer skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
GD&T experience, QMS experience, and EXCELLENT COMPUTER SKILLS.
